Ryan N

Hi, I’m Ryan Nickel, a first-year student at Massey University via distance, studying towards a Bachelor of Accounting. I’m excited to be part of the team at Balanced Accounting Taranaki, who have been incredibly supportive as I've already learnt so much from them in a short time.

I grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Stratford, where I developed a strong work ethic early on. From a young age, I’ve always had a natural interest in numbers, which eventually steered me toward a career in accounting.

I attended Stratford High School, where I had the opportunity to complete two university courses while still at school. That experience helped confirm my passion for accounting and gave me a head start on my journey.

Outside of work and studies, I’m passionate about sports, you’ll often find me on the court playing basketball around town or watching and talking about it with friends and family. Unfortunately an ACL injury playing Rugby has turned me into that one uncle that swore he could have gone pro.

I’m really looking forward to learning, growing, and contributing more as I continue this next chapter in my life with Balanced Accounting.
